Growing up, I was lucky enough to sit down to a home-cooked dinner five nights a week. Not only was my mother an excellent cook, she didn’t believe in using boxed, canned, or frozen food, and we didn’t own a microwave until I was almost out of high school. My upbringing certainly informed my food choices and my love of cooking. I believe in using traditional, top quality ingredients, seasoned well and cooked simply to highlight their natural flavor and beauty. I use organic produce when possible and only cook with animal products that are certified humane, and hormone- and antibiotic-free.
